Please keep in mind that we only provide DPF software solutions. Although it is not illegal to remove a DPF filter from your vehicle, it is illegal to use a vehicle that has been modified in such a way that it no longer meets the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulation 61a(3))1. The removal of a DPF nearly often violates these standards.
From February 2014, a visual check for the existence of a DPF will be included in the exhaust system inspection performed during the MoT test. An MoT failure will occur if a DPF is not installed when the vehicle was constructed.
We can offer alternative solutions as well to help keep your DPF healthier for longer as well full cleaning treatments.
